Well let us introduce you to the new race in town…THE DIRTY DASH. This race puts all other races to shame. The Dirty Dash is a mud run obstacle course where a military boot camp meets your inner five-year-old’s fantasy and subsequently converts boy to man and then man to swine.
You’ll need endurance to trudge up mountains of sludge, courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles, a complete lack of shame to wallow in pits of mud and a smile to show through at the end!

I normally don’t post stuff like this but this really sucks. Joe Perrizo, nice guy, local downhill acrobat extraordinaire and cover subject for our April 2006 issue, just had his bike stolen. “It’s the nicest bike I’ve ever owned,” says Joe. “I’ve had it for just a couple months and it’s a pretty special bike to me.” If you have any information on it please contact Joe courtesy of Wheelsport South.

May 18 opening day at the Millwood Farmers’ Market
Conventional wisdom in the farmers’ market community says that it takes five years for a market to really get established, so it is with great anticipation that organizers look to the start of Millwood Farmers’ Market’s fifth season on the corner of Euclid and Marguerite in historic Millwood.
On May 24, 2007, the market made its debut with a dozen vendors and a few hundred curious shoppers. The organizing team made up of farmers, business owners, and church leaders hoped that some day this little neighborhood market would grow to be a vital expression of community life. The experiences during the first four years of the market have far exceeded those hopes.
