Ride Dynamics Mountain Biking Classes

Ride Dynamics in Spokane offers mountain biking lessons and instruction to riders of all experience and skill levels. Kyle Springer, owner and instructor of Ride Dynamics, began riding in college to get across campus faster. The challenges provided by trail riding appealed to Springer, and the hills surrounding the campus provided ample opportunity for him to refine his skills. Springer got his start instructing as a volunteer with Evergreen Alliance Mountain Biking Group. The diversity of people he met through Evergreen Alliance helped foster his love of teaching others and first gave him the idea of starting Ride Dynamics. Ride Dynamics offers classes for every skill level, including trail rides, group fun rides and kid’s camps. Things like rocks and tree roots “are fun to ride over but aren’t intuitive,” says Springer; “the skills that are at the core of what I teach are a good foundation for everybody.”

Springer offers private and group lessons of up to six riders. Class options include trail ready classes to practice basic techniques and body positioning, jump classes, and Silver Mountain mountain biking classes to allow riders to apply their skills to steeper, rockier terrain. If you’re not sure you’re ready for a class, drop in on a free group ride. During the summer, Ride Dynamics also offers kids camps open to kids aged 7-14. These five day camps will allow kids the opportunity to learn more about their bike and test out new skills on the trail.
